Miss Sukey at church, on the conjugal day, 
After Cherish and Love, mutter'd inwardly 'Bey;
For clipping the latter, it came in her head, 
She was bound to perform, no more than she said.
The Parson as prudent, insisted to hear, 
O--BEY repeated, both distinctly and clear;
Till the Groom interposing, said, -- let it pass so, 
E're the business is done, I'll make her cry, O!
